A brief history of O

theatre O began in 2000 with the show 3 Dark Tales.  This was followed in 2003 with The Argument, Astronaut in 2005 and Delirium in 2008.  All our shows have been performed at the Barbican in London and from The Argument onwards the Barbican has also co-produced the work.

We have taken our work to festivals and theatres all around the world.  Our most recent piece, Delirium, was also a co-production with The Abbey Theatre in Dublin and premiered at the Dublin International Theatre Festival.

We have also led workshops all around the world, taking our unique form of making work to new audiences and theatre practitioners across the globe.

Since our formation we have toured to New York, Sao Paolo, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Melbourne, Adelaide, Wellington, Goteborg, Berlin, Mexico City, Queretaro, Pittsburg, Edinburgh, London and throughout the UK and Ireland.

As well as our work with theatre O, we frequently work with other theatre companies and practitioners.
